When you share your name, email, phone number or home details on this site, I use them to help you buy, sell or plan a move, and to follow up with you about that. I do not sell your information. You can ask me to see, correct or delete it at any time.
This policy covers kmclainhomes.com, operated by Karie McLain Homes, brokered by eXp Realty, LLC. It is effective November 4, 2026. If I update it, the new date will appear here.
Texting and calling consent
When you submit a form or chat on this site and include your phone number, you agree that Karie McLain and her team may call or text you at that number about your real estate request, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. I do not share your phone number or texting consent with third parties for their own marketing.
What I collect
- Information you give me: your name, email, phone number, property address, and your answers in the home value chat, buyer chat, showing request, relocation and guide forms (for example timeline, price range or financing status).
- Scheduling details: if you book a call, Calendly collects the time you choose and the details you enter.
- Usage information: pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar tools described below.
How I use it
- To respond to you, prepare your home valuation, set up your private home search, schedule showings and calls, and send the guides you request.
- To keep a record of our conversations in my customer relationship system so nothing falls through the cracks.
- To send occasional market updates and local guides by email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages are helpful and to show relevant ads about my services on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Google.
- To meet legal, brokerage and recordkeeping obligations.
Who helps me run this site
I use trusted service providers who process information on my behalf and only for these purposes:
- BoldTrail (customer relationship management) and Zapier (moves form submissions into BoldTrail and sends me a text alert)
- Flodesk (email newsletters and guides)
- Calendly (appointment scheduling)
- Kinsta (website hosting)
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel (site analytics and advertising measurement)
- Elfsight (displays my Google reviews and Instagram feed) and YouTube (embedded videos)
As a broker associate with eXp Realty, LLC, my brokerage may also access transaction and client records as required by Colorado real estate law. I may share information with a lender, title company or other professional only when you ask me to, or when it is needed to complete your transaction.
Cookies and advertising
Cookies are small files that help a site remember your visit. This site uses them for basic functions, for analytics (Google Analytics), and for advertising measurement (Google Ads and the Meta Pixel), which lets me show my ads to people who have visited the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google ads personalization at adssettings.google.com, and manage Facebook ad preferences in your Facebook settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the site from working.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while we are working together and for as long as needed for brokerage recordkeeping and legal requirements. You can ask me to delete it sooner, subject to those requirements.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to client records is limited to me, my team and the service providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive financial information, like account numbers, through website forms.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction and deletion: ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any text, click unsubscribe in any email, or ask me to stop contacting you.
- No sale of personal information: I do not sell your personal information.
- Colorado and California residents: depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including the Colorado Privacy Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act) may give you additional rights, including the right to know, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. I will honor these requests and will never treat you differently for making one.
- Visitors outside the United States: this site is operated in the United States and intended for people interested in Colorado real estate. If you contact me from abroad, your information will be processed in the United States.

Children
This site is not intended for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
